Vincent Lane: Bass Guitar and Vocals

Bio: Vincent found music at an early age thanks to neighbors of his who both worked as music journalists for the now defunct Knickerbocker newspaper. They (Laurie and Steve) introduced him to all of the classics (The Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan) and even took him to his first concert in 1983 where he was able to go back stage with Steve and meet both Rick Springfield and Greg Kihn. He started getting more serious late in high school joining a few fleeting bands, but he took a leap of faith and bought his first bass at 17 and started jamming with guitarist Dave Evans. They started writing originals and gathering the material that would develop into the first gestation of reaLation. back in 1996. They recruited in drummer Mike Esposito (E) and began playing out shortly there after. Vincent wrote and released Self Posturing and Gesticulation in the summer of 2004 to decent airplay and record sales. Dave left the area in late 2004 and Vincent formed The Fizziks in late 2006. Vincent has also been involved in the recording and producing of such area artists as Susan Cohen and Dale Wade Kasey.

E: Drums

Bio:Playing and exploring in the world of percussion came about for mike at the age of 14. Growing up jazz and rock were always his favorites, in turn paving the way in what would eventually be a life long journey in the art of percussion. Intrigued and drawn into learning the basics to achieve a solid foundation soon became his most important goal, instead of trying to see how many different fills could be performed in a single day (which by the way is extremely fun to do!). He embarked on some lessons as a teenager to set a more solid foundation to his skill. Purchasing drum sets soon became the passion, one day resulting in an overload in drum kits. The different types of wood grains gave him the knowledge of how different each drum actually was and how they sounded, and also what he preferred. Eventually joined two bands in Albany NY in his 20's exposing himself to the music scene, studio recordings and gigs. Joined the Fizziks for a number of years, indulging in eclectic types of music.(classic,alternative,rock)etc.. He was lucky enough to study under the teachings of Ted MacKenzie who resides in Ballston Lake NY. His style alone and methods of teaching the BUDDY RICH book are amazing!! End result........... A Finished Performer. ..

Jeromie Charpentier: Guitar and Vocals

Bio:Jeromie took an early interest in music, studying instruments such as drums, guitars, keyboards, bass, and vocals. Learning to read music through High School, brought NY State Competitions in which JC placed nearly perfect. Jeromie was hired as a drummer, by a country/western band at age 15 (which included his Grandfather on bass and vocals). In High School, word spread of Jeromie's guitar playing and musical abilities. Jeromie was asked by a Junior Miss contestant, to accompany her singing for her act. The High School band director, asked him to play bass with the Whitehall High School band. One of Jeromie's first jobs out of High School, was to play drums for a school event as well as a church event, directed by Whitehall's music/chorus director.
Jeromie dabbled in guitar with the help of guitar books, magazines, and METAL METHOD, a series of instructional tapes by Doug Marks. Jeromie noticed a knack for picking out songs by ear and learned to read tablature. The love of Rock music made Jeromie decide to further pursue the guitar. Jeromie learned to sing with the help of the High School Chorus.Songwriting/recording was also a part of early music life for Jeromie. Learning how to multi-track, Jeromie produced his own recordings that featured him playing all of the instruments. Rock bands followed with Jeromie on guitar and vocals. One group Victoria Cross won a "battle-of-the-bands".
A move to Long Island, NY with one of the bandmates, led to 4-track recording, and a few gigs.
Getting a job in a L.I. music store helped to land some valuable experiences. Jeromie was introduced to a band, Marchello that was doing showcases, under the same management company as the famous Meatloaf.
After trying several short-term projects, Jeromie then joined a club/ wedding band called The Satelites through word-of-mouth by John "The Cat" Gatto who was working in the same music store. The Satelites gave Jeromie over two years of performing experience with a professional act. Jeromie tastes brought in harder rock and a candy-apple red Gibson Les Paul. A dillema over instability and burnout from working and playing, Jeromie decided to move back home to his Upstate roots.
Jeromie continued to write and play, both in original and cover bands such as Roadhouse, Hungry Jack, Misfit Toys, Retrospect, and JoJoSAINT.
Jeromie took his knowledge of guitar, and vocals and built an acoustic act. The act played in various upstate venues indoors and out. A 10-song disc of all originals entitled, "Live At The Java Shop", was finished in early 2004. Jeromie met singer/songwriter Jesse Champagne and played 3 gigs as a lead guitarist. The duo did a guest spot on "Upstate Unplugged" a local radio show. Jeromie submitted a few songs to a local radio station called "WEQ-XSPOSURE", his song "Your Love" was played about 8 times. After a few unsuccessful band attempts, Jeromie was in a local band called reaLation, playing covers and originals...which turned into today's band called The Fizziks.....
